The Service
Martie is a family calendar assistant reachable by SMS. Family members text Martie to check schedules, add events, and receive reminders. An AI model processes each message and generates a reply, which is sent back by text. All messaging is two-way and initiated by you.
Program details
- Program name: Martie — Family Calendar Butler
- Description: A conversational AI assistant that helps families manage their shared calendar via text message.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies depending on how often you text Martie and what reminders you set. Martie replies to messages you send and sends reminders you request. No unsolicited marketing messages are sent.
- Cost: The Service does not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Opt-in
You opt in by submitting the sign-up form on meetmartie.com with your mobile phone number. The form includes consent language explaining what messages you will receive. No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Registration is currently invite-only.
Opt-out and help
- Text STOP at any time to opt out and stop receiving messages.
- Text HELP for help.
- Carrier-standard STOP, HELP, and related keywords are supported automatically.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to transmit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringing. Do not send sensitive personal information (for example, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or health information) by text.
No warranty / AI-generated content
Replies are generated by an automated AI model and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Do not rely on it as the sole source of truth for critical scheduling.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including missed appointments due to incorrect or missing reminders.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your phone number and message content are handled.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
